MK M'KENZIE AT KEIKIORANGI. Mr. J. M'Kcnxie, the Labour candidate, addressed a meeting of thc electois at. Iteikkirangi on Tuesday night. Mr. G. A. Alack presided, and there, was a geed attendance. The candidate advocated proportional representation, tho initiative, referendum, and recall and sj.cke at some length on the cost of living, the increase ui which ho attributed to the operation of combines, assciling that the Government had inado 110 serious attempt to deal with the problem. The aggregation of land and soldier settlement were also dealt with by tho candidate, who condemned the Government for failing to break up 'lie .bii." (-states and for encouraging r.'ie in(iation of land values by the expenditure of public money. At the close of the address a number of questions were asked and answered by the candidate, and the meeting closed with a vote of thanks .itid toi)l ; dei)ce.
