SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
At the Institute of the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday a concert was arranged bv Mrs. Caußhlpy, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the seafaring pilosis. The performers wore Mrs. B. J. Child, and "Misses Tiall. Johnson, Lewis, ami Me.-nr.i. J(. J Child, ,T. Watchman, and North. Mr. 11. Child and Miss Ball were at the piano. Mr. J. Moore, missioner. wns in the chair, ami was supported hv Mr. I!. W. Benton, who gave a blackboard chat on prohibition, foi which he received much applause I'leoffes followed. Tlio competition nrizes came from the hostess, and went to the lonic and Fnrattah.
