On November 18 the jury for ,'ho second time failed to agree on a verd'et in the e;iso against .Tames Reynolds Ifaync ami Norman Neylou on a charge of using an instrument for illegal purposes, and 011 the application, of tlio Crown, Judge Sim nuido an order for the third trial of accused at the next criminal settings in February. Ijftst week tho Crown Prosecutor filed a summons for a eliango of venuo of tho trial to Wellington, and to-day Judge Sim made an ord'ir for the tria.l to take place at the next criminal sittings at Wellington.
