' » The final concert of the 1910 season of the Wellington Harmonic Society (conductor. Mr. 11. Temple White) will bo hold in the Town l'lall Concert Chamber on Saturday evening next at 8 o'clock. Tho choir's numbers on this occasion aro all selected from among those that have proved tho most popular in recent years, it being a "request" programme. A feature of the programme, will bo tho items to be given by the Harmonic Quartet. which four won the male quartet section at the recent competitions, and earned the name of being ono of the finest male Quartets in tho Dominion. Their numbers will bo "O Peaceful Night" (lid. German), which was the competition selection—aud "When Evening's Twilight" (llaiton). Miss l'oggy Jones, another first prize-winner at tho competitions, and a member of the society. will contribute two soprano solos. A pleasant change from tho vocal work, and one that is very seldom heard on the concert platform, will be playing of two l>as3con solos by M.r. B. Yeates. The box plan' is now open at the Bristol, whore seats may bo reserved without extra charge
