LONDON WOOL SALES
The Department, of Agriculture, Industries, nnd Commerce-has received the following cablegram, dated December 2, from the High Commiss'oner for New •Zealand, London:—"Eighth series Government wool sales commenced last night with good competition from an average attendance of fuyers. Prices:' Merinos advanced 5 per cent. Fine and jnedium crosebreda unchanged; coarse orossbreds 5 per cent, cheaper compared with' closing rates last seres; 151,000 bales shown woole are avaiinblo for series, of which 65,000 are Now Zealand; also 00,000 de6cription of which 13,000 are New Zealand."
