INCIDENT.. IN'SUVA. (Rec. December 8, 8.20 p.m.) Suva, December 8. Five Germans repatriated by the Atua were mot yesterday on the wharf by ieturned soldiers, who made hostile demontrations. The Germans' luggage was flung into tho harbour, and they then decided to stay on board. To-day the Governor met the Returned Soldiers' Association and promised that the Germans would be placed on Quarantine. Island, pending tho decision. Other Germans from Levuka due on Wednesday will bo sent to the island also.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
