HEAVY CONGESTION AFFECTING PRESS NEWS. Sydney, December 8. Cable congestion awl the consequent delays are seriously affecting the supply of Press news, and at present the bulk of this is four or five days % in arrears. The present indications are for a further congestion. There have been no deliveries either-by the Eastern or Pacific routes since last night—Press,Assn.

The Pacific Cable Board states that conditions are improving, and estimates the delay on traffic to tho United Kingdom at a few hours only, and on otitiward traffic to two and a. half days. Tho delay on American traffic is-still heavy both wnys.
