He contended-that Dominion road boards should lie appointed, whose business it would be to determine what roads should bo main roads, the lietrt rna.t making type 'for the whole or different parts of the' Dominion, the necessity and nature of deviations or regr'ading of existing main roads, and the making new main road.s. He complimented "The, Good Rnad3 Association ot New Zealand" upon the work it was doing in educating public op'ninn. lie was salis-, fled good roads and motor traction would? greatly assist the producer. Answering questions, the speaker said ho'was satisfied that his. figures were correct as to the present strength ot the Reform Tarty. He had voted for an increase in the wages of the Second Division men on the railways.
