London, December 2. The. Jockey Club's committee appointed to inquire into tho conditions ot racing finds that the proportion of stakes contributed by owners is considerably higher thnn ill France, Australia, and Now Zealand, 'and contrasts tho generous treatment of owners by Australian clubs as compared with that in England, especially in, regard to added money and giving the public lower admission rates. The report recommends that the Jockey Clubs should have a closer control of race courses, and should lower tho admission charges.—:Aus.-N.Z. Oable^Asin.
