\n ordinary meeting of the Court Kpuni I/)dgc was held at the Orange Hull, Petone, last night, P.C.R. Bro. Mason presiding. There was a good attendance. One member declared on nnd three off, leaving nine members fitill on tho funds. Tho Court closed early to allow members of all friendly societies in tho district to meet delegates from the Wellington Vriendiy Societies' Dispensary Board to discuss matters of interest to all societies. At the Y.M.C.A. to-morrow afternoon at a o'clock Air. W. D. B. Creagh, of Sydney, will speak on "Tho Man Who Came Back." Mr. Creagh is well known in Sydney us an associalo of Bcv, B. B. Hammond in the work of the great Anglican Mission. He is an ex-pugilist with a greet boxing record, and has a standing offer in Sydney to tako on any mart of Ms own age and, weight in a friendly boxing bout.
