PROHIBITION DEMONSTRATION
■Wellington citizens will have an opportunity 011 Tuesday next, at the Town Hall, of hearing the case for prohibition presented to them by prominent Wellington speakers. A great demonstration, has been arranged by local young men s and voung women's organisations, and. it preJnvses to be one of tho most enthusiastio nnd unique gathering lield in \\ ellinglon. Tho chair will be taken by Mr. R S. Gray (Dominion organiser for tna Prohibition Party), who will reply to tho proposals of tlio Moderate LcaffU®. >[r. G- W. arorico, JI.A. (Late captain N.Z.E.F.), will deal with Drue and Unemployment Fables ot tno Liquor Trade." Mr. D. S. Smith LL.M. barrister (also late N.Z.8.F.), will ' »pe«k on "New Zealand's Debit against the Lictuor Traffic-" Several musical and elocutionary items wilt be contributed during the evening, and arrnngementa liave been mado for bnnds to play through tho town and outside tho iown Hall before the meeting begins.
