PRO-GERMANS SEVERELY DEALT WITH, Vancouver. December 2. During tho war the name of the town of Berlin, in Ontario, G2 miles southwest of Toronto, was changed to Kitehoner. Somo of the town councillors have been attempting to restore tho name of Berlin. Some were ducked in a horsepond by returned Soldiers, others were beaten senseless, and the remainder were compelled to kiss the Union .Tack. The soldiers wrecked a newsgaper office which had criticised the I'rincc of Wales,— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
