HOUSING FAMINE IN BRITAIN
MR. LLOYD GEORGE TO APPEAL TO THE TRADE UNIONS. (Rec. December 3, 7.40 p.m.) London, November 29. In order to deal with the housing famine, Mr. Lloyd Georgo is calling a conference of tho trades unions. He will appeal for the relaxation of all restrictions in connection with building, particularly bricklaying. He also desires that two hundred thousand more shall be employed in building. The Government will spend ,£15,000,000 during the coming year in building a hundred thousand houses.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
