He turned out to do this, saw tho tram coining, and was lurnimr back again when the tram struck the motor vehicle- The defendant made a statement to tho police to this effect, claiming that ho signalled to the tram hit intention, but seeing that no nolice was laken lie immediately swerved back. After part hearing the evidence for tho defence, His Worship adjourned the ensn till next Tuesday aftornoon. Mr. A. M. Salek appeared for tho dofondant.
