JIEKTING OF THE COUNCIL. The Mayor (Mr. S. M. Stone) preside!! over a meeting of the Mirauiar Borough Council, held last night, ami there were present: Councillors E. -i- Harnett. ,1. Ilicks. B. P. A letter was read from the Department of Labour with regard to the erection of workers' dwellings in the borough. Attention was drawn to the necessity of providing water mains and drains.
