Appearing in the Imperial box at the memorial service , at the Potsdam Garrison Church, General Ludondorlf was the hero of a. remarkable demonstration. A figure in field grey sprang up in the congregation exclaiming, "When tho hour conies we will nil follow you."
Tho assembly rose and sang "Deutsehland Über Allies."
The clergyman paused in the service and exclaimed, "When tlio time comes wo shall die bravely for our brothers and our honour." lie then dismounted from tho pulpit, and standing at tho tomb of Frederick the Great, he appealed to the congregation to unite in creating a monarchy. The excited people cheered tho ex-Kaiser and von Ludendorf—Aue.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

His association with the rabid monarchial party must not be regarded as a prelude to a counter-revolution.
