N.Z. TOY DOG SHOW
The very successful two-days' exhibition of the Xew Zealand Toy Do;; Club wits brought to a dose on Saturday evening. During the iiili.M'iionn diie cute (rick dogs were placed on trial, and the clever performances of the tiny animal., gicntly aimi.-ed those present. The first prizo was secured by .Mr. I!. M'Gill's Ponieranian, which .save a creditable exhibition. A. French poodle, owned by Air. W. R. Looner, ivon the second prize. After this display the special prizes, of Miiiich lliere were tjiiib i: nuniber. were presented to the winners bv Mrs. S. H. Jfastall. The president of the i:luli (Mr. ]'. Ji. PhipsoiO'tlien made a short speech, mainly in cmnuiuidnlioii of the excellent services rendered by the. secretary (.Mr. S. 11. Rastall), who was m:ide the reoipioiiti of a present as a mark of appreciation. The patron of bhe club, Jlr. I'aul Hunter, who came dou'.'i from Hiiwkc's Hay to attend the exhibition, yave a substantial donation towards the funds of tihe club.
