THURSDAY'S TOURNAMENT. . Thursday's boxing contests ftt tho Town Hall promise to be most successful. Those in a position to judge who have been watching TJren in his training work are enthusiastic over the clever display seen cadi afternoon. TTren lias ten granted the use of tlio excellent gymnasium of the Y.M.Q.A., and each afternoon numerous friends have witched his work. His present weight is lflst. Gib., and Heeney is a stone heavier than this. In discussing his forthcoming match with Heeney, TJren pointed out this difference and also the fact that Cln.bby is particularly clever at in-fighting and apparently it was this that won him tlio contest against Heeney. There will bo three amateur preliminaries, as follow: Leslie v. Taylor,'flyweights; Donley v. Nixon, lightweights; Meale v. M'Kinlay, welterweights. Seats may bo booked at Armit's and day sales for back stalls will be on sale from Monday next at Perry's, Manners Street.
