The Jauanese labour representatives, failing to secure tho eight-hour day principle for tho Oriental countries, have left for home, with one exception. Mr. Matsumoto, oue of the Japaneso Labour representatives at tho International Labour Conference, said that tho JaDanese Government remained still an autocriicv. and tho bitter enemy of social iustice.—Aus.-N.Z.
