RED MENACE IN ASIA
OVERTURES TO BOKHARA. London, November 24. Tho Teheran correspondent of "The Times" reports that the railways for twelves miles on both sides of Bokhara have been torn up to prevent Bolshevik attacks. The Ameer of Bokhara sternlv rejected the combined Turkish, Afehnn. and Bolshevik proposals in the Bokhara Press that Persia should enter tho pan-Islamic union. The proposal has since been converted into threats aeainst Bokhara. A Bolshevik force has been established at Kizilarvat, and threatens Krasnavodsk.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Ajbsri BOLSHEVISM IN SWITZERLAND London, November 24. Pro-Bolshevi6m is reappearing in Switzerland followinc _on the elections, in which the Socialists expected to gain fourteen seats. Demonstrations in favour of Lenin and Trotsky were held in Geneva. - The 1 Parisian police have seized copiesof a Swiss organ, "La Feuille," printed in French, and palpably of a Bolshevik character.—Aus.-N.Z.
