' COMMENT BY THE CHIEF , JUSTICE. f - nis Honour the Chief Juetico (Sir Robert Stout) fixed 2 p.m. yesterday lor the Clearing of undefended divorce case., aild at tiio appointed-hour there was now) of tho parties present; as a matter of fact only tho Court official and pressmen were in their places, His Honour said:/ All these coses on tho list, and no personal appearance or anyone here. The cases must stand over until next session. . There is too much going *low in tho wholo of tho Courts of Law. vThe same, thing seems to nave happened in Auckland, where only one jury case could bo taken in a week out of 30 or 40 on the list, ' . Tho following cases.were formally called and adjourned to next session: \iiiAlfred Mary •Kemptlioriio Holmes v. Garnett Bowcn Holmes; Marion Blair Anderson v. Charles Walter Anderson; Nellie.Allan v. Archibald GcoTgo James Allan Anthony Jackson v. Dons Gelatly (nullity of marriage); Violet Jane uitl Oarducv. v, William Leask Cardno. Mr. H. F. O'Leary put in an appearanco .in tinio to get:a case in which he was appearing for'tho petitioner adjourned to Wednesday next.
