Fat thoep: 1072 were penned, which formed a small yarding comparatively speaking. Competition was much keener than tho previous week and showed an advance of 2s. per head-on last week's rates, although thn demand fell away somewhat towards the' end of tho sale. Extra primo wethers to Gls 6d., primo 553. Gd. to file. !kL, light and unfinished 38s. Id. to -333."/ld., extra primo heavy ewes to C4ar9.d;'prime' 483. to sts., medium and gockl : Mls. ■to 4Gs., light and aged 355. to SBb.- •' One ; pcn of-extra prime shorn 6'vres realised 505., whilst other shorn sheep sold from 30s. to 41s. 9d. Fat lambs: 101 penned, .which was a much larger number than last week, and prices were a. , shilling or two easier than last qnotation. Values ranged from 255. to 338. 6d. Pigs: A good entry. "Competition was. well maintained and prices . were quite on a par with the previous week's rates.
