APPEAL TO SENDERS: The Eastern Extension Cable Company •has addressed tlio follo\vin«« memorandum ■ to the Postal authorities at Wellington:— "Tho company regrets that owing to tihn accumulation of traffic caused by cable interruptions it cannot satisfactorily cope with the increasing trafllc, and iirgps senders, in their own interests, to reduce i)ho number and limit tho length of their telegrams. Tho company also particularly asks that Christmas and New Year greetings telegrams should not bo sent." The foi'ogoingt limitations do not refer to traffic behveon Now Zealand and Australia. . ■
