Br TeloeraDh—Prcm Annotation. -Masterton, November 25. At a mcotiiig of the Masterton Branch of tho P. and T. Officers' Association tonight, the following resolution was unanimously carried :-"That ihis general meeting deplores the fact that: the- Government failed to brins down legislation making it necessary for officers of 40 years' service- who are entitled to .£250 por annum superannuation being retired, thus relieving the present stagnation existing throughout the service, and securing more- efficient by younger and more energetic officers. A resolution was also passed protesting against the failure to honour the promise made by Sir Joseph Word in regartl to tho bonus.
