Tho greatest defeat.was sustained by the Cholitti Party, which once numbered 300, and now has 8 members, while tho Socialists have 155. Catholics' 98, Liberals and Conservatives 1.17, Democrats and Independents 80, and Reformists jO. An exciting session is anticipated inview of the Socialist predominance.— Reuter.
(Rec. November 25, 1 a.m.) ; Rome, November 21. For the first timo since the restoration of tho Italian unity the country has real _ national representation.' Many political changes are likely, including the resisnatiofl ■of Signor T'ittoni, the Premier. The Socialists number over 150, and jirobablv will be the biggest- party. Parliament will immediately demand the demobilisation of the army and the removal of the 'Ministers of War end. the Nav.v, replacing llrem by civilians. The racialists also demand nil inquiry into the conduct of the war, tho Coporetto disaster. and the failure to accept various peaco proposals.
