THE attention of ths Public is drawn . to the fact that at a recent trial in Wellington bottles were produced in Court marked "Jeyes' Fluid," which Professor Ensterfield and Mr. S. J. L. Hewitt, Manufacturing Chemist, of Christchureh, after enreful analysis, swore contained a liquid other than "Jeyes' Fluid," and that similar bottles were sent to Jeyos' Sanitary Compounds Co. Ltd., England, and that the Company has sent out a sworn affidavit to the effect that the liquid they contained was not Jeyes' Fluid. The Public are therefore warned that spurious imitations of Jeyes' Fluid have been in circulation, and that no genuine Jeyes* Fluid is bottled in New Zealand. Further prosecutions are pending. A. C.
