The trio to Riccarton appears to have done Astinome a lot of good, and she is now working in her best form. She is to do the Palmerston North and Wairarana meetings at Christmas. Local trainers have a gootf word for the Solferino yearling purchased at Chrislchurch by a patron of J. M'Laughlin's stables. The youngster is a neatly turned colt with splendid legs, and he looks lika developing the pnee usually associated with horses by the imported sire.
