Strong merinos have advanced 7J to 10 per cent.; fine crossbred, pur to 8 per cent; coarse, 5 per cent.; medium show slight dcclinc. Tallow, average advance 23. cwt." The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice, from its London office, tinder date November 17: "The sales have cloßed with good inquiry from all hrancheß of the trade, and a pood demand for all kinds of wool.
