Ho commended tho ■Government's work in tho settlement of soldiers, in business, and on the land, 110 urged a reduction of the cost of living from tho workers' point of view, but thought high prices were. inevitable. . Mr. Jlill advocated the establishment of suburban homes on reclaimed swamp lands 11. the vicinity of Nnpien Tariff, reform was urgently necessary. He commended the notable legislation ■ carried by tho National Government, and urged the settlement of wasto lands. He put in a strong claim for tho completion of the East Coast railway and immediate work on the Waikaremoana hydro-elec-tric scheme. Mr. Ilill received a vote of thanks and confidence. MR.
