While -Lord Lonsdalo was travelling from Lowther Castlo to Doncaster by .molor-car, a big motor-char-a-bancs came into collision with his car on tho main road crossing Brough Ilill. Lord Lonsdale's driver turned his ear on tho sidewalk, but was unable to avoid the collision. Tho window of the car was broken and I/ol'd Lonsdale pwived cuts on the head and hand.
