The Act was promoted by Mil l Southlaud Progress' League in connection with the Lake Jlonowai scheme., Tho board will bo elected oil December 20, and immediately the ratepayers of tho district will vote on tilio proposed loan of a million to carry oult tho electrification of tho ivholo province, with part of Southern Otago.
