AMALGAMATION OF SURF CLUBS
I A' meeting was -held last night to dj>nl 'with matters regarding flic aniiii.OTinat.ion of the i.fara'nni and Lyall Bay Surf Clubs. The following delegates were proceni._j[pCcir.j. page and Warren 'Mnranui Surf CluM. L. Bliui'lell and Raynor (T,yall Bav Surf Club\ T. M. Donovan, Ryan. Ko'witt. and Jones. Sir. Donovan wn« in the chair. The delegates agreed to amalgamation, and a signed statement is being forwarded to (he Oifv Council agreeing to the tc-ri'is as set forth in a letter dated November 11. which was forwarded to the Baths :>nd .Benches Committee by the Mavanui Club. The delegates n.l?" carried e. Tesohmon approving of a irala V-"ins held at th" T.vall Bav beach on Boxing Day, and that the 'inauguration of the amalgamation of the two clubs be held on that d(ir as well.
