[■ A POINT EXPLAINED. ft was stated in an article'in last luesday's issue that a eoldier who has returned aJid has not received his dis- , charge is not able to apply for land under the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Acts, nor to receive advances of money from tho Government to assist nun m taking up civil occupation. It is now pointed out that by section 7 of the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement .
