Tho eonipauy was fined JilOO and costs. ■ With regard to Street, the Magistrate said the act of which defendant, bad been found guilty had beencommitted with a callous disregard of the ultimate consequences, not only to thoso who might thereafter nso tha unw»v s lied blankets, but to Ihoso who might l>o called upon to suffer through the spread of sonio infectious disease which might devastate a whole community. "I liavo decided not to imprison defendant, bull tihe i>en. nlty must be substantial. Ho will be convicted and fined £50 and pay *-he costs." Loavo to appeal was granted.
