The communication stalnd that the proposal had tho support ot Iho lit. Hon. W. F. Massey, who was prepared to recommend Cabinet to guarantee tho exhibition up to .£20.000. It traiisnired from other corresnondenco read to tho meeting that the Dunenin Manufacturers' Association had somo idea of uromoting an exhibition in Dunwlin in 1921. Tho secretary was instructed to inform the Dunedin Association of the Canterbury scheme. A (K'lieniP for tho crwlioii of «" industrial hull was the subject of. a report bv the chairman, who said that iuformarinn would have to ba obtained regarding thn attitude of other bodice towards the nrouosal.
