Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report holding tlioir monthly Bale of hides, calf skins and tallow on Thursday. All • the best calf skins and 50 per cent, of'nearly all lines of hides, yearlings anil kips catalogued were take® by the twiners at schedule rates. Hides not selected by the tanners were submitted to auction, prices realised being slightly easier than Inst cale rates.
