Tho Department of Agriculture, Industries and Commerce advises that an orror occurred in the figures showing tho : number of o-.niers for the Mellinßton- : West Coast district in the anmizl sheep ' returns "for 1018. and that consequently the total number of owners in tho Do- ' minion for that vcav should have been , U l6B. not 24,803 as shown. The former ■ fiirures. when compared with the total for 1919, thus show a decreaso of 103 for this I year, instead of 77S as appears in tho return.
