ROYAL COMMISSION OPENED. Melbourne. November 15. Mr. Justice Ewing, who has been appointed Roval Commissioner, has opened an inquiry into the Port Darwin trouble. He adjourned tho hearing to Darwin, where tho evidenco of the late officials will be taken. Tho Commissioner said that certain statements had been made about Dr. Gilruth and he intended to adviso Hint Dr. Gilruth bB given a chance of being represented it he so desired.—Press Assn.
