There was a great l-n'sh for meat in tlio butchers' shops to-day, in anticipation of the strike of the Butchers' Union to-morrow. It is understood that tlie master butchers will keep their shops open, and it is expected that 110 difficulty will be found in obtaining a full supply of meat ]t is possible, however, that 110 deliveries will be made.
