Tho quality was fairly Rood but the proportion of extra prime was email. Prices opened about 2s. be. low late ratca and quickly dropped an other 23., in sonio cases even more. Prime TToollywthew, to Gss.; shorn, ate. 9d.; extra primo woolly ewes, 645. j shorn, 51s 9d.; medium wethers, 4Gs. to 5Gs. Gα.; ]i"ht, 4fls. upwards; unfinished, from 35s • medium shorn wethers, 3Gs. to 40s. 6d.; shorn ewes, 303. to 355. Lambs.—lß penned. Competition was keen and prices firmer, ranging from 275. to 365. 9d. Tier* ■was a medium yarding of pigs, which consisted mostly of baconers. Porkers were in short supply, realising advanced prices.
