There has been practically no business in produce on account of tho holidays, and there is no alteration in quotations. There have not been any offerings of wheat during the past few days, supplies as far as farmers are concerned beimj practically onded. Tho only sales in oats aro small lots between merchants. Chaff is still in demand, mostly for the North Island, but the holiday traffic of. the past we=k has further restricted shipping facilities. There has teen a eonpiderable export to Sydney of potatoes. U'ho Moeraki, which left last week-end, shipping several Kindred tons.
