8.7 TelecraDti-Press Association. Blenheim, November 8. The fifth annual conference., of the Methodist Women's Missionary Union has just concluded at lilenheim. under the presidency of'. M.rs. Duke, of Dunedin. The membership was reported to have reached l>loo, and the reports showed increased interest in -the work among the Maori girls and-.women of tho Dominion, and the work of- the missionary sisters in the South Sea blands. Officers for tho ensuing year are ns follow:. President. Mrs. Pinfold, Wellington; secretary Mr*. Newman, Wellington; treasurer' Miss Head, Wellington; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Hills, Palmerstun North. The visitors were entertained at a garden party yesterday afternoon.
