Father O'Donnell informs the Australian Press.Association correspondent that he has cabled Mr. Hughes as follows:— "Preliminary private investigation is proceeding. I have met the chief accuser and, mangled him, and am waiting for others. J aji. relying on .you absolutely for an opportunity for the fullesti public vindication.
