TRAFFIC REGULATION
COURTENAY PLACE CORNER.
Sir,—Now that a fatal accident has at last happened at Courtenay. Place corner, perhaps the police will Fee th*' the man who is there occasionally is always- in evidence to regulate traffic Point duty at that particular intersection is quite ag necessary as at other points where a man is stationed—especially during the busy portion of'the day. But what is much more important is to stop the Tramway Department continuing- their dangerous practice of "parking" tramcars at foot of Kent Terrace and top of Clyde Quay.'This, in itself, has become a menace to traffic, and quite obstructs the view of drivers of motors and other vehicles at this intersection. Why they have been allowed to do this» so long is a downright sin, especially in the, face of so many school children running around tho junction of these streets at certain times; to say nothing about the semi-intoxicated individual who alwavs wanders over these crossings.—l am, etc., A DRIVER,
