ltwstatcd that two men, named Martin M Donough and Daniel Collon, were room mates at the boarding-houso. . A quarrel is raid to have taken place, culminating in a display with a pocket-knife by MDoiiough, who is said to have stabbed the other man in the chest. Ilio wounded man was removed to the hospital and M'Donough was arrested. . Col ton was a returned.soldier who had just drawn his gratuity.' He is not seriously injured. Both men, it is stated, bore evidence of having l)een indulging in \ celebration of some sort.
