Generally speaking, tho oats market is firm, and there is littlo doubt that those who have supplies are holding on for an oipeeted hardening in values. Tho potato market seoms to have died away almost completely, and few of tho merchants will touch the tubers nt this poriod, the crop being a very uncertain thing to handle.
