HEAVY FINIS INFLICTED. By Tulcerapli—Prcsn A'noelittlon. Auckland, November 4. Sly grog-selling on the Avondale racecourse at tho Spring Meeting was (lie subject of charges against three men in the Police Court to-day. Tho district of Eden, in which the racecourse is situated, is a "dry" area., It was stated that Jiff nor was sold lo racegoers, both men and women. One of the defendants, was fined oCIOO and the other two £20 each.
