A YOUNG WOMAN'S DEATH
CASE OF SUICIDE. • An inquest into circumstances sur•Tonndip** the. death of a young woman named Ella Caroline 01've Jackson, who committed suicide by cutting l'»r throat on Sunday morning, was conducted by the Coroner, Mr. W. G. TJiddcll. S.M.. at t.hc Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Evidence was given bv lihe father of the deceased that she bnd been" in illhealth for some time, and ha-'' nreviousiy expressed the intention of tilling herself. Decpa-sed appeared to he in good spirits wlhen she retired to her room on .Saturday night, but all a" o.vlv hour on Su"dav ''be was found with her throat cut. The deceased ivas 21) years of age. and Tf*idP'l with Vr parents at No. 11 Mitchell Street. Brooklyn.

A verdict wc.s Tcliurnod to the effect that the deceased, who had boon ill foia number of rears and suffe''e--l from fits of depression, committed suicide whilst of unsound mind.
