TOFUA FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Tofua, from San Francisco, arrived in the stream on Saturday morning, and after being granted pratique, berthed at No. 16 Jervois t'uay. The vessel left tho American port on October 7, arrived at Papeete on October 19, leaving on October 21. Rarotonga was readied on October 24, and tho Moana, from Wellington, was met at that port and was given preference in loading. The Tofua cleared Rarotonga on September 25 for Wellington, Throughout the trip fine weather was experienced till Friday morning, when it couimcuced to blow, increasing to a modcrate, southerly gale on Friday evening.
