October 28, when they yarded just on 1400 head of cattlo to a large attendance of buyers from all parts of the district, including Pahiatr.a and the Manawatu. The cattle, consisting chiefly of well-bred station lines, were a credit to the district. Competition under tho liamnicr was keen, several pens being passed in.
